CADMAN
The CADMAN CAD technician converts and checks the CAD file to make sure that all instructions and standards are followed. The file is rechecked several times to assure that the drawing is complete. As with some older paper drawings technical information may not be 100%. The CAD technician will highlight in red the areas or items that are out of place. When you receive the drawings you can open them and immediately review the highlighted areas.
Converting drawings
When converting to a 3-D model an inconsistent dimension or text may be discovered, a PDF can be created and sent to you for immediate review. While you are reviewing the occurrence the CAD technician will continue drawing and creating your 3-D model. When you have the correct information the CAD technician will update the model to match your changes.
When a model is created in Revit or AutoCAD a file can be created in Navisworks for you to review in Naviworks freedom viewer. (Free software so you don’t have to invest in more expensive software.) There is also free software for reviewing AutoCAD DWG files.
CADMAN
CADMAN can use your standards or a generic set of standards. Your company standards are very important to us. Making changes in the future can be very difficult if every CAD technician used a different set of standards. When you send your file to us to be converted you can send your standards that you would like included such as layering standards, text styles, dimension styles, databases, blocks and plot styles. If you have a company titleblock we can also include it in your drawing. If not, we would be happy to create one for you with your company logo included..
After you have received and reviewed the final CAD files, CADMAN will follow-up with you to verify that the CAD files have met all of your specific project requirements. If any inconsistencies in the files are detected, CADMAN will update the files immediately and supply the updates to your office.
